Genesis 3: 20 And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living .
This is the time to remember our Mothers. We should honor them at all time, but during the month of May, we have Mothers Day. A national day set aside to honor our mothers. But I am always reminded, that a Mother does not have to be a biological thing. Any one who cares for another person, nurturing them and providing for their needs , that’s a mother.
We do know there are many women and men who care for their families , and other’s and perform those duties that mothers do. God made Man and provided Women as a help mate for man. God wanted man not to be alone. So mothers have a role that God has equipped them to perform.
God makes no mistakes. He is the master creator, the giver and sustainer of Life. He knew us before we were in our mother’s womb. So we are fearfully and wonderfully made. We are God’s chosen vessels, a royal priesthood. We The Kings and Queens of this world are standing through every test , that is why we must always do our best, showing God’s love to all the rest.
A TIME OF TRIUMP FOR CHRIST HAS RISEN AND LIVES TODAY.
The Awakening
John 9:25 He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not; but one thing I know that, whereas I was blind, now I see.
Hosea 4: 6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…..
During this season of the year, we focus on the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior. Remember he came that we might have life. (John 3: 16) Faith is the leader, and our sight takes second place. Because we believe, our faith, the reality of our faith becomes supreme. John 4: 24 God is a spirit : and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
We also read in Hebrews 11: 6 But with out faith it is impossible to please him : Jesus came for the lost; for those who did not know him. He did not come for the righteous. Matthew 9: 10-13 And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinnerscame and sat down with him and his disciples. 11. And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners? 12. But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. 13. But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. We must never forget that we were once , one of those lost souls. Romans 3: 23 All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
To Awaken, one must acknowledge that they were asleep. You lack the consciousness of knowing the reality of the risen Lord, Jesus Christ. One must come to that place within, believing that God is, and that He is a rewarder of them who with , careful , persistent, attentiveness seek God.
CONSIDER THIS: How dare you preach and teach others when you have committed so much wick and evil acts against God and humanity?
CONSIDER THE RESPONSE: Yes that is so true; I was all those things. But how wonderful is the grace of God, who looked down on me and raised me up from that dark sinful life. Such, that I can now stand as a vessel of mercy. I can stand as one washed clean by the blood of Jesus. I can stand knowing my sins have been washed away. I can stand with the peace of God in my spirit. I can stand with Joy bubbling up in my soul. I encourage you if you have not Awaken? Awaken now! What would happen if you looked at the circumstances you find yourself in and said” the battle is not mine it’s the Lord’s? What would happen if you did as Jehoshaphat, in verse 3; he reminded GOD of all He had already done.
What about you? Can you reflect on all God has already done in your life? Jehoshaphat acknowledged his fear but proclaimed “but our eyes are upon thee” (verse 12). As followers of Christ, we need to be mindful, the battle is not ours but GOD’S. We can make all kinds of plans, and often they go astray; things just don’t work out, but God is still in charge. I encourage you to let the story of Jehoshaphat be an encouragement to you. You see he had three armies coming against him and his people. He was afraid. Yet, in his fear he stood before God waiting for instructions.

Special Reading: Psalm 121, Psalm 27, “Just Give Me Jesus” by Anne Graham Lotz
As Christians we are heir to almighty God. The Bible tells us we are his children, his son’s and daughters. Because God is our Father, we stand in line to receive all he has for us; all that belongs to him belongs to you and me. We are part of the family of God.
When Satan comes to destroy us he has to get God’s permission to approach us. You see, God has placed a hedge around us just as it was around Job. (Job Chapter 1) Satan cannot touch us unless God moves that hedge. The holiness of God surrounds each of us, no one can take us out of the Master’s hand. (John 10: 27-30)
SCRIPTURE: Prov. 3:5 – Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not to your own understanding.
THOUGHT: We all go through life trusting something or someone. It’s either God or the world. (Matthew 6:24)
Every decision we make we make trusting it will work out the way we desire.
Over the holidays we trusted our love one’s to get the gifts we wanted.
We get in the car, trusting it will start and take us where we desire to go.
Those we love, we trust won’t deceive us, they won’t let us down, won’t lie on us, won’t try to harm us.
The Bible tells us that we should trust in the Lord (Prov. 3:5). We are instructed not to rely on ourselves, not to rely on our own understanding, our senses, what we see, what we hear, how we feel, what we smell, or taste. How many times as children our mothers encouraged us to take medicine that didn’t taste so good, that person who’s badly dressed, dirty looking–yet he’s a God fearing man, honest in his work clothes. The thief, clean shaven, with $200.00 suits, wonderful cologne on, yet he’s a devil in disguise. See! We can’t go with our senses.
Psalm 118: 22 The stone which the builders refuse is become the headstone of the corner.
Psalm 18:2 The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer: my God, my strength, in whom I will trust: my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.
KNOW THAT YOU KNOW THAT YOU KNOW, JESUS IS THE ROCK
Psalm 23: The lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
God has given me a word for this season. He imprinted in my spirit Psalm23, 7 days, 7 times, morning noon and night.
God used me years ago to have those who were in need of a word from him for whatever reason, to recite Psalm 23.
For those that did that they reported to me that it made definite difference in their lives and they indicated God answered their Prayers. I encourage you to give it a try.
Psalm 30: 5For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favor is life: weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning.
This was written to a friend following the loss of a family member . I share with you as I hear of so many suffering loss in their families.
On this day I send comfort, I send hope and the desire for you to be ok. All because I love you and have requested the angels of our God surround and Keep you.

This month we honor those we Love with flowers, candy, dinner, all the activities that demonstrate how much we care about them. This is a time to demonstrate love. The bible illustrates the greatest love story ever told; the story of Jesus and what he did for all of us.
