Psalm 46Be still and know that I am God:I will beexalted among the heathen, I will be exaltedin the earth.
THOUGHT:Be still and Know God is still in Control
It's amazing that in the stillness we can know God. In the quietness of life; in silence,
we can see Godís hand writing on the pages of our lives. Wow, what a God we serve. When nothing is moving--when all is still, we can look around and see where we've come from.We can see the mountains we had to climbed. We can see the valley's we treaded through. We can see the rough places in our lives made smooth by the hand of a loving Father, our Savior Jesus Christ. We can see those times He reached down with his compassion of grace, and mercy; pulling us out of the mess we got our selves into.
What a mighty God we serve.
ďBe still and know I am GodĒ.Have you been still lately?Or has the business of life over shadowed you so that the peace of stillness has passed you by?Have you been so busy you failed to be still? The Word say's "Be still and know that I am God".When you're still, you can listen; you can hear God when he speaks.Be still!I challenge you to be still, listen for the voice of God.He promised never to leave us, so He's there.I challenge you to take time to listen.Remember the Word "Be still and know that I am God."
PRAYER:Oh, slow me down Lord.Slow me down that I hear your voice when you speak.Slow me down Lord that I not move ahead of you, but that I wait patiently in the quietness of the moments for your guidance in all things.Help me be still Lord and see you.Help me not to be in such a hurry that I fail to recognize you all around me.Give me your Godly wisdom that I see you Lord in the stillness of time, in the quietness of the moment, that I see you Lord and follow.Amen

For 2011 A Word to Live By
THOUGHT: The Walk of Faith
Scripture: 2 Corinthian5:7 For we walk by faith,
not by sight:
Roman 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing,
and hearing by the word of God.
Mark 11:22 And Jesus answering said unto them,
Have faith in God.
There is a song ďWeíve come this far by Faith leaning on the Lord. Trusting in his holy word; Heís never failed me yet. Oh, I Canít turn around, Iíve come this far by faithĒ Faith is a force that propels, shoves, pushes one to move on, to continue to go forward. Faith strengthens one with determination, and absolute trust in God. Faith keeps one grounded despite the weather, despite the pain, despite the uncertainty of the unfolding events of life. Faith becomes the rock on which one stands leaning and depending on Jesus.
Jesus the Son of the Living God. Jesus the Great I Am. Jesus the Almighty One; my Lord and My All. Faith is the motivating factor that guides and
keeps one no matter what storms may come. And when the shadows of life
creep our way, with arms of despair threatening to pull one down; Faith becomes the anchor that holds one firm. Faith keeps your mind fixed and
wrapped up in the things of God. Faith draws one to allow the Holy Spirit to take charge, to lead and guide us in all things. Faith becomes the foot-board of life.
As long as we take the Walk of Faith in Jesus Christ, our journey in life will
be sure, for heaven will be our home.
The Walk of Faith, itís ours by the gift and grace of God.
What ever God has given you to do, you need to do it now. You have been given a second chance here in 2010. So DO IT NOW is the word coming to you. The past is the past, you can't change it. But you can decide right now to go in another direction, one that leads you to being obedient to the things of God. That's your choice. You decide. Just because Moma and Daddy walked with God, that will not help you. You must accept Christ as your Savior. You can't get to heaven on what your Family did. You must join the Family of God yourself. You must become a child of God.

PASTOR RACHEL ADDISON
SERMON; WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT JESUS?
READ: MARK 8TH 27 thru 30 verses
Also read Matthews 16: 24 verse
Deny self and follow me.
What do you know about Jesus?
He wants you. He wants all of you.
Deny yourself. What does that mean?
Take up your cross? What thatís?
I want you to think about something.
When you say yes to Jesus; when you ask him to forgive you of your sins and become Lord of your
life. That is the beginning of our journey. We start at the point to take the trip to make heaven our home.
But to get to heaven we have go thru Jesus. You see he stands in the gap between earth and glory. So we have to know what Jesus requires of us and move
in that realm. So I ask the question; What do you know about Jesus?
When we look at Church folk, we find many of them are busy in the Church. They are members of two choirs. They serve as a member of two other
Organizations, the Pastors aide group and the
Youth advisory Panel. But I still ask the Question,
What do you know about Jesus?
Many have relationships with their Church but lack a relation ship with Jesus.
They get up each morning in a hurry to get to work.
They donít even take time to say good morning Lord.
I thank you for this day. Good morning Lord, thank you for waking me up in my right mind. God morning Lord, thank you for my health and strength.
Where is your relationship with your Father?
What about that deny self and take up your cross?
Jesus has instructed you to give up on you. To stop looking at what you want, and look at him.
Heís said take up your cross, thatís pain and suffering, thatís being with out friends, thatís giving up that love in your life. Thatís walking away from those friends that are not of GOD, thatís making the self sacrifice. To go it alone if you have to but itís Picking up the things of GOD.
What do you know about Jesus?
Have you read the BIBLE your self?
Or do you wait for Sunday Morning for the Preacher
To tell you want the BIBLE says?
Jesus Says In his word, if you love me Keep my Commandments. (14th John)
What do you know about Jesus? He wants you to follow him.
Look at Ephesians the 4th chapter
Letís read together verses 24, 29, 31 and 32.
As we read this I want you to look at your self and
Determine where you stand. Donít look at me look at your self.
This Christian walk is an individual walk; you have to walk your own walk.
You have to learn about Jesus. You have to read this book for yourself. You have to begin to renew your mind and your thinking about the things of God.
You have to do that. The Pastor canít do that for you.
You have to have your own personal relationship
With Jesus. Working in the church is good but embracing Jesus is what you must do first to walk in right standing with God.
Playing church, will send you to Hell quick. You think you are doing the work of Christ and you are not.
Make sure your motives are right. It should all be done to give God the Glory. If you are so busy you donít have time to pray or spend time in the Word of God, something is wrong with that picture.
Christ wants you. He wants your worship, he wants your praise, and he wants you to tell somebody about what heís done for you.
What do you know about Jesus?
Oh we need to make sure we know who Jesus is.
We need to make sure heís alive and ruling on the inside. We need to make sure each day we acknowledge his presence in our lives. We need to make sure heís with us thru out the day. Acknowledge him, talk to him. If you begin each day with Jesus,
Reading the word, praying seeking him for what ever you need.
I mean being real, where ever you are on your Job in the stores at home. Thatís what serving Christ is all about Learning what his commandments are and
Applying them in your life. Living by them day by day by day. The word will transform your mind, it will change you.
Soon you will see you donít desire the same things.
Your mouth you wonít even talk the same way, those words you use to use you donít use any more.
The places you use to go you donít go any more.
Your priories have changed. God has moved in your life and you are growing up in him.
You know you are not the same. What use to brother you and get on your nerves, just donít seem important any more. Look at God. Look at how he works.
What do you know about Jesus?
You need to get busy. Not with Church but with building up your relationship with Jesus Christ.
He said in his word.
I and my Father are one. (John 10:300
God is a spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24)
Remember three things.
1. Being saved is just the Beginning
2. Get in the Word Learn about Jesus, Pray
Let this be come a habit
3. Guard against working for Jesus, and not having that personal relationship with him.
Put Jesus first in all you do.
What do you know about Jesus?
Youíll be able to shout it from the highest roof top,
Heís my Lord, heís my savior,
Heís my rock in a weary land heís my open door when all seems to be closed, he the way out of no way, Heís my protector when the enemy comes against me, he my comfort in the midnight hours, when the fears of this world tend to come my way heís my light and my guide.
Iím standing on Jesus and I will not be moved.
Iíll stand my ground no matter what comes.
What do you Know about Jesus?
Thank you Lord for this word Have your way I pray Amen.
Easter Sunday Message
Pastor Rachel AddisonI Corinthians 15: 1-7
2009 Luke 24: 6-8
My God, this is the day we celebrate our risen Lord. This is the day Christ Jesus Got up out of the grave. They believed he was dead.
They believed it was over. They believed all that he had said was now proved wrong by his death. But on Easter Sunday Morning, in the quietness of the early morning dew; my Lord and yours rose from the dead. The grave could not hold him. He showed the world that He had the power over life and death.
Remember because Christ lives we can live also. We are encouraged as Children of God to be like Him. Because the Living Spirit of God
through Jesus Christ resides in you and me, we have that inheritance
to be like Christ. Donít let the dead issues of life, keep you down.
Rise in Christ alive with the knowledge He has given us the Power
over the enemy. (Luke 10:19)
Remember this song?He arose, He arose, He arose from the dead.
He arose, He arose, He arose from the dead, and the Lord shall bear my spirit home.
There is more to this song. But I want to remind you of another one.
He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today. He walks with me and talks with me along lifeís narrow way. He lives, He lives, salvation to impart! You ask me how I know He lives; He lives, with in my heart.
Prayer: Father God somebody needs to feel your risen power in their life right now. Open the door of understanding so they can see you
and know you are there for them.Let them know a yes to you is all
You desire. Lord you came to save the Lost. Help us as we reach for you embrace us with your love. We receive you now. Amen.
When 2009 came in; God began to drop some awesome messages in my spirit.
This is one of those messages; Wake up, Itís Time. Now this is about a spiritual waking up. Itís about waking up to the things of God. God wants us to get our spiritual walk right, before itís too late. Think about it. We encourage our friends, our neighbors, those we work with, we maneuver them to come to our church; yes we do.But we fail to emphasize, the why of their coming. We fail to emphasize the importance of knowing Jesus. The one who can give them a peace the world canít understand. In doing this we fail our friends, we fail our children, and we fail those who came to church because we asked them to. We also fail ourselves because it means we have not grown up in our knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Hey, you are not alone. There are many church folk who have learned to talk the talk but donít walk the walk. They have even learned how to shout at the right time, praise God at the right time, cry, and fall out; you name it and they can do it. But their hearts are not right and they have a form of Godliness that will land them in hell. Thatís right. You canít go to heaven playing church. God must be real in your life. When you read Matthews 7:22-23 verses, you see there were those who did good works in Jesus name; but he said, ďI never knew you; depart from Me you evildoers.Ē(RSV)
Wake up. Itís time.
We are all on a time schedule, and need to get real serious about serving the Lord. You canít just do anything. You canít curse your neighbor out and pretend its ok. You canít be married and sleeping with someone who is not your wife/husband and think thatís ok.Jesus requires your total commitment to him, period. You canít do what you think. You must do what God has said in His Word. He has given us the Standard for living and itís all written in the Bible. You canít live any kind of way and think you can get to heaven.
Jesus tells us ďI am the way the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father except through me.Ē (John 14:6 NIV)
John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me; and he that Loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. (KJV)
Four things I would recommend and they are in the letters of ďWAKEĒ.
Remember this message is ďWake up, Itís TimeĒ
W- Wake up, to where you are on lifeís journey. Are you walking as Christ would have you walk? Can He go to work with you and remain all day?Are there some places you go that you would have to ask Him to wait till you came back?Is he even in your life?Wake up to where you are on this spiritual journey. Itís time. Are there areas in your life that you struggle with time and time again? Have you taken them to Jesus in prayer? Check yourself, see where you are. Go to Jesus with a sincere heart seeking forgiveness. Heís waiting on you!
A-Acknowledge your need for Christ. Whatever is going on in your life that is keeping you from living Holy, Jesus can fix it. There is nothing too hard for God.There is nothing impossible, for this God we serve. He is the creator God. He made us and he knows every hair on our heads. Heís greater than any problem that can come our way. Acknowledge that you need help. Let Him know you need him now to lift you out of the errors of your ways. Let Him know that you want to serve Him no matter what comes your way.
K- Kneel down in prayer. The Bible tells us to pray without ceasing. So get upin the morning calling on the name of Jesus. Good Morning Lord. I thank you for this Day. Help me to be the Man/ Woman/ Boy/ Girl you want me to be. Talk to Jesus as you go about your daily activities. Let Him know your concerns.
E- Earnestly seek God. Begin the PMA process. Thatís Pray, Mediate. and Apply the Word of God in your life. Let this become a daily routine. P.M.A. Donít let a day go by that you have not opened that Word of God and read something. Begin to memorize some of those scriptures so they become a part of your daily prayer.
Wake up, Itís Time.I encourage you and you can get it right. Let Jesus have control. Just rest in Him. Heíll do the rest. Romans 11: 1-2. Pastor Rachel Addison
God has dropped this word in my spirit. Itís a right now word for this season
of our lives. I encourage you to read this and apply it as you go from day to day. Stop waiting, but step out by faith; the favor of God awaits you.
Pastor Rachel Addison
Sermonette:Donít Fear change.
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear,
but of power, and of love, and a sound mind.
Donít fear change. If you believe the steps of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord.
If you believe Romans And we know all things work together for the good to those that love God, to them that are called according to his purpose. Donít fear change. If you believe nothing happens in our lives that God does not already know about. Donít fear change.
Know that change comes to allow the power of God to be manifested.
Change comes to allow each of us to become witnesses to what God has already done in our lives. Change comes that we can tell somebody about this God we serve and his awesome power to change lives as heís changed ours. Change comes so we can tell the world about this God we serve who can do anything but fail. He is the creator God.
I challenge you to embrace change, grab change, allow God to mold you and make you, such that you stand firm in the power He has already given you. Luke 10:19
Donít fear change. We are right this moment where God wants us to be.
Change? Godís got it all in his hands, believe it.
We have this assurance that nothing can separate us from the love of God.
Nothing, so change is just another obstacle on the road of life. But we know God, and he will keep his word to his Children. We are one in the spirit and God will take care of us. He promised never to leave us nor forsake us. We can hold to his unchanging hand. Change can come and change can go but God will deliver us out of it all.
Donít fear change. Rest in Jesus Christ and his promises to you and to me.
Heís got the whole world in his hands; thatís you and me.
Receive it, embrace it, Godís got it.
